I just got in from flying my $2 blue core foamy for the first time with a brushless setup. Hey folks, this is good stuff. I can see I need a little better foamy kit to handle the power of the brushless rig, but I had a darn blast. I can feel another addiction coming on !!!
3DX Blue Core Foam Plane - $2
HiMax 2025-4200 - $60
Castle Creations 25 - $60
Apogee 1570 3s - $60
GWS 6 ch. Receiver - $30
(3) GWS Naro Servos - $45
Foamy Flying Fun - PRICELESS !!!

It is so easy to grab the foamy and go a block from the house and fly at an old football field..... it makes foamy's a nice addiction..... To fly heli's, I pretty well have to drive out to the club to fly, not far, but still have to plan it a little more.
Foamy's are definitely cool !

Hey Bart,
I have my Triton charger sitting here hooked up to my 35amp ham radio power supply. In fact, it is charging a battery as I type. It is raining outside, so flying today.... :( But I will be charged and ready to go out the door with the foamy !
BTW, shameless plug for a friend, but Big Al's Hobby Supply has a good stock of foamy's, brushless motors, etc. Give him a call is you are looking for something in the foamy field. http://www.big-alshobbysupply.com/ or call him at 321-1492.
