I've been out of the heli scene for about 15 yrs or so. I used to own and fly a Concept 30 & Xcell 60 custom. I received an xcell 60 in trade and I am in need of some answers. I need to purchase a few items first, one being the starter, I remember a starter extension on my starter, to match up to the cone on the heli. But all I find online is a shaft extension hex rod or nothing that looks familiar to me. Is there a new cone or mod that I need or a better online store?

MA does not supply starter cones on their helis now. They recommend the one way bearing start shaft that goes right on the start shaft.

Or you can fit a Raptor50 hex adaptor ( PV0361 ) to the start shaft , and use a starter with a one way bearing in it ...

Looks like the MA adaptor, David's link above, is the cheapest option atm though .....

So, does the raptor hex adapotr have a 6mm input hole? I know that the adaptor off my evo 50 is to small.

There is two hex adapters from TT. One has a 5 mm shaft hole, the other one has a 6mm hole. Have to make sure it is 6 mm. The 5mm one was used on the early 30 size models.
