I just got a Blade CX 2 and I've been doing some mods (alum. parts, tail boom, ect) I took it out to hover tonight and work on the trims, after the flight I did some trims plugged it back in and started to hover again, all of the sudden it was out of control, full throttle bouncing around the room on the floor tearing things up. I finaly go ahold of it, unplugged and calmed down. Then I pluged it back in and everything seems to work fine

New batteries in the transmitter less than two packs ago.
Any idea?

Thanks.

THis has happened with CPPros...glitches...but never with CX2 or 450SE/DX6 DSM radios.

Rebind the Transmitter to the CX2 and make sure you have the failsafe set correctly.

Carlo, can you tell me how to do that? Thanks for all of the replies!

Sure, first you have to put the bind plug into one of the receivers channels ( Bat), then with the transmitter OFF, plug the battery into the heli. The heli Rx should start rapidly flashing the orange LED. Now set all the sticks how you would want if the heli were to lose signal. personally I have throttle all the way off and cyclic stick and trims at neutral. Now while the orange LED is flashing on the heli, turn on the radio, it should blink the red LED. Once both LEDs have turned solid, it is now bound to the radio. Make sure you remove the bind plug from the RX before you power off and on again, or it will go back into bind mode.

See pages 39 and 40 of your user manual, it explains in more detail.

Thanks! It appears that it may have been a heat problem combined with the way the previous owner bound the receiver to the transmitter. I think he bound it at full throttle. I drilled some holes in the receiver case, flew it without the canopy and it works great.......crossing my fingers that was it.
