I have my first heli after about 22 years flying planks. Still have some planks but got hit with the heli bug bad. A good friend of mine sold me a 46 graphite with a OS 46 and 550 V-blades. The head speed is fast and was wondering if I needed bigger blades? Also, I would like to get some nice tail blades but don't know what size it takes. Currently I have old looking white ones and would like to go with carbon fiber if anyone has a old set around please let me know. Thanks.

95 mm to 105 mm will work fine on the tail rotor. Those tail blades you have on the heli are the stock plastic tail blades that came in kit. They will work just fine.
You mention your just starting helis. I would recommend staying with the plastic tail blades till your really good at taking off and landing. You get carbon blades into the ground and they will not hold up like the plastic ones do.
