Which is the quietest muffler for a gasser, Hatori, Century, or the Bergen one? Also with regards to the level of noise, how are they in comparison to a 90 size engine?

I've just gotten my Bergen muffler installed recently. I was very happy with the noise reduction. I don't know if it's because the rpm is lower or the muffler is quieter, but it seems quieter than many of the 90's I've heard. I haven't used anything other than the stock muffler so I can't compare with the other brands of gasser mufflers.

the hatori muffler will make your model sound a lot like a glow model. Make sure you get the latest version though with the s/s spacer.

I am happier with the DB range on the Bergen versus the Hatori

The Hatori is a good muffler as well, the addition of the SS header is a great improvement to virtually eliminate the problem of the muffler coming loose.
I do like the sound of our mufflers over the Hatori though! :D

Well my Magnum Intriped arrived today, it's a nitro airframe but i'm looking to convert it to a Gasser i was pretty sure most users would recomend the Bergen muffler.
