If you are looking for a 50 size bird then that is your answer. The Raptor 50 is a great heli for learning and beginning 3D. If you want a larger heli then go for the 90 Raptor.

The 30 and 50 are very similar with only a few different parts. Unless you are buying a 90, I would go with the 50 Titan if you are looking for high performance or the 30V2 if you want long run times. You can still flip and roll the 30, you just have to be easier on the collective than a 50. Here is a pic of the Raptor 30V2 and a 50 Titan (and a mini Titan).

Hi
I have to agree I have the raptor 50 titan and is rock solid ,I would recommend to fit the o.s hyper and a 401 gyro..
I have flown many nitro helis and elec's too, and I have to say that every time I fly my raptor I walk away with a smile, I dont think you can go far wrong... but make sure you fit good components otherwise what ever you get will never fly to great..
The raptor 50 is obviously bigger than the 30 size but repair cost (and you will crash) are very much the same, but your getting bigger and more power ..
The raptor 90 , or any 90 size for that matter works out loads more expense than the 30/50 size, but it will fly a little more solid and cope with gusty conditions better...
If it was me I would stick with the 50 best of both worlds..

Check out Heliproz.com or Ronlund.com they are both great online nitro dealers.
Standard setups for the 50 Raptors are Futaba 9252 or 9451 servos, OS Hyper 50 motor, Muscle pipe or Hatori Pipe and a Futaba 401/9254 or 611/9256 for the tail. There are a lot of different opinions about the throttle servo and the Gov so read up on them.

They are awesome, i buy pretty much anything i can't get from my LHS from their and it turns up at my door in 4 days :) - Also the price on the site is a little higher than you pay due to their discount system. Winner
