Hi, wana check out what is the pitch curve setting for idle up. I have a 5 points pitch curve. The TT manual stated in normal mode, mid stick which is point 3 will have ard 5.5 degree and when u going to idle up, i supposed the mid point will drop in the degree. So what is the correct setting.

Switching to idle up is when u are hovering or when the heli is on ground? Did try to switch it in flight and wala....the heli almost dropped due to different in pitch at mid points.

Mine pitch curve is like for normal, -4, 5.5 and +9

for idle up, it -9 , 0 , +9.

thanks for the input.

These days I think it's most common to use the same pitch curve for normal and idle-up. That would put you at a hover at 3/4 stick, inverted hover at 1/4 stick, and 0-deg pitch at mid-stick. This will keep you from having the surprises you had.

Yep, most of us hover at 3/4 stick these days and it eliminates the chopper jumping during flight mode changes.
