Well us Florida pilots had a great time last year traveling all over Florida to different small events at fields all over the state.
This year will be no different, I for one can't wait to get together for the first Travelin' Gatherin!
So, hopefully we can get some input from all the boys and get one together within the next month or so after MayDay.
What's it gonna be?

How about come to visit us at SPARKS in St. Petersburg the first weekend of June!? The local guys are planning a Heli invasion and we need all the pirates we can gather.... :smokin: We'd Love to have you guys come play!

Dont forget Jacksonville May 19th, though we will actually be flying the 18th and 20th (sunday at a different site)

Saturday has a few GS Warbird guys, but we have separate runways like you...shouldn't be an issue. They just like to unilaterally change runways cuz they can't land crosswind.

Glad to see us Floridians networking. There are tons of pilots here in South Florida from Miami to West Palm Beach that never go to events and tend to fly on their own.
I would love to get the word out to them as well.

Looks like the next gathering is going to be Jacksonville on the 19th.
We need to firm up the "invasion" for Jimmy D as well, we need to make sure if we all show up that we're going to be able to fly.

Friday will be at Gateway RC, the site of the event for Saturday.....then Sunday its off to Jax RC.....Jacksonville is going to ROCK!!! :Band :woot

I'm planning on heading over to the Jax event and it looks like SPARKS is doable too. All I have right now is my T-Rex and I'm still learning (just getting into FF now) but I've been to Triple Creek and Huntsville and had a blast and I get better each time.
Rediculously short notice but if anyone wants to come up to Tally, we're having a fun-fly this Saturday (tomorrow) to benefit the American Cancer Society. It's planks and helis and it's a $5 landing fee. The website is www.seminolerc.com. I would have posted about it earlier but I'm not even a club member yet and I was waiting to see if any of them would do it. Guess not. :wink:

Hey Guys,
SPARKS has stepped up to do a Fun Fly! Two days of nothing but Heils!
I've posted details in this thread (http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=37852). Hope every one can make it!
There are still a good number of folks flying on the first weekend of June, but the 23 & 24 event is an "Offical" club fly-in with drawings, prizes, and such.
