OK, Some of you may be wondering, and I know some do not like the looks of the Trex500 gear on the Blade. Yes, the T500 is taller and wider. Affords much more stability and strength. I've had some hard landings on my gear, no issues. The Protos has lower gear. About the same length but narrower and shorter. A tad taller than the Blades, and about 1/2" wider, But, the Protos gear is very flexible. It has a lot of springiness. The pipes are aslo plastic. Iam going to trim 1" off the back of the Protos bars because they look to long. If you lock them into the front mount, then the rear mount the bars float in for length, when bolted to the Blade frame. Looks real good IMO, and you can get Protos skids in different colors. I have Yellow on my Protos and will be ordering a set of Yellows for the Blade. Doing a twin's color scheeme.

Hope you like.

Ya I love that canopy, It's a Fusuno. BUT, I do not fly with it any more. Not unless it blubird sky and sun at my back. It's to hard to see. I have a Canomod Dash style T450 canopy thats more Scotch tape than FG now, but it's bright yellow/orange and I can see it against the tree's and Mtn's here. I don;t have fields over a soccer field in size, bordered by 40+ft Spruce/Fir. That;s where the yellow skid frames work awesome on the Protos. The whole Protos paint sceme works for me. I just paint the tail a fade Org/Yellow and the Stab fin, Org under side, Yellow Top side. Looks killer and good orientation for me
