I was starting to charge my new FP4900 packs after a couple of flights and plugged the lipo to the 210 balancer, everything OK. Then I plug the battery to the charger and hit charge. The charger starts to check the voltage and the link to the balancer and then all the sudden an alarm pops out and tells me that there is a greater than .25 volt imbalance  . I said no way, this is a new pack and I am just breaking in. So I disconnect the charger from the pack, restart the balancer, everything OK, and plug the charger again. Hit charge and now it just goes normal. Finishes the charge and the all cells are balanced according to the balancer. Then I try with my second pack and everything OK. The next day I use the packs, start to charge them back and the same error again :arggg: . Restart everything and now it is fine. What's up with my charger? :dontknow

Sounds suspiciously like a bad balancing wire or connection somewhere....

this would happen to me when i flew too long and took too many mAh out of the packs.. somehow the cells would get out of balance... but leaving it plugged into the balancer for a few minutes took care of the problem , i also limited my flights to around 5 min and only take 80% or less out of the packs...
