I'm trying to do pirouetting funnels right now. I can't for the life of me get the tail to pirouette consistantly. I'm not bogging the engine and the engine is running fine. I can do this manuver on another heli that I have that is not MA but can't get it on the stratus. I have 105 sab tail blades, running 36 on my gain, and I have had it setup according to the instruction manual. I have equal throws on the tail blade as well. I'm running a 601 gyro and a 14MZ. I have 690 SAB blades at 180 grams. I have looked at a couple video's of some guys flying and although it looks consistent i've seen some hesitation. Ohhh, if I am just hovering I do have consistent pirouetting. The issue is during travelling pirouetting. TIA for all help.

Do you run the 601 in f3c or 3d mode?
3d mode should give you constant pirouette-speed.

The issue with flying and not hovering sounds like your in f3c mode.

Yeah, that was it. I put it in 3d Mode today and what a difference. Thanks
