noobie needs setup help

i bought the 450 se on ebay and bought the futaba t6exhp for it. it was flown and came with gyro and esc, so i thought sweet, plug and play. ive been into planes for years and mini helis lately so i thought no problem. i have no instructions and can't even get this thing to function correctly. 50 bucks an hour for help and advice at the hobby store was a joke so i thought id ask here. any good videos or pics or online instructions. i watched most of the setup videos on here but they were mostly how to build. what goes where in the reciever and any advice would be great. and why is there a 20 page novel on how to program the controller!!!! hahaha.

complete your profile. california's a big state. but, there's plenty of help here. i'm sure someone--myself included if you're close enough--would be willing to help. this sounds like a wholesale mind dump here---you're not going to get what you need in a few paragraphs. someone's going to have to give this thing a little face time.

i think ive gone to all of them, maybe im just retarded! HAHA well im in milpitas CA, near san jose and san francisco. like i said, i fly my mini heli in the house and freak out the dogs, but this "step up" is huge and there have been many thrown things against the wall after hours of trying to figure it all out!!
