i was bored today and have been wanting to paint my own canopy. well my lhs was out of e-flite canopys so i grabbed a t-rex 450 canopy and went to work. there wasnt to mcuh to do. just alittle trimming and drilling new body mount holes. i was easly able to counter the weight of it. over i think it looks good on the cpp. the tail boom and all is alittle skimpy. but the super skids set should help the looks of the tail boom.. here is a few pics.

It's great what a simple stripe can do to liven up the look, much racier now :D

thanks man. i thought i had messed something after my first test flight. i shoudl have crashed it was out of control. turns out my pitch was cracked out, and the mixer arms were sticking. so after about an hour of smooth out the plastic peg the arms sit on, and smoothing out the inside of the mixing arm sleeve. she flies like a dream. i will get videos up this weekend. the mixer arms helped a good amoutn with a few things. hovering 12ft off the ground its stable.

so all in all i think the look of my little pro is perfect. i need to get another canopy and have my boss use his c.a.d skills to get me a outline on paper if this body. so i can start working on a simple yet nice paint shceme for it..
