Do you Raptor 30 pilots feel the pitch and throttle curve in the instruction and building manual is adequate for a fairly new pilot ?? Next , what do I input into my DX7 tx to work properly with the factory pitch and throttle curves ?? Do I just set a linear curve up for pitch and throttle in my DX7 ?? :dontknow

Most importantly - use a pitch gauge and ignore the gradings on the frame. Use the Pitch curve settings to achieve the required pitch on your gauge (ignore the %'s they give for this in the book as this will vary)
In normal mode a linear Pitch curve should work fine for a beginner. I'd set it to -3 to +10 with about 5.5 or 6 at mid stick. You should be able to just disable positions 2 and 4.
Throttle curve is probably best set up linear (0, 25, 50, 75, 100). Then go into hover and adjust throttle so that the heli hovers at mid stick (i.e. if the heli only hovers at more than mid stick or shakes - increase 2nd and 3rd throttle points). I often had to change the curve to something like 0, 45, 65, 75, 100 for that but It might vary from heli to heli and depending on your engine.
Thats simply my method for doing it but by all means take note of any others put forward here as they might well be as good or maybe even better.
