What do most of you use to attach the sensor to the boom? My plastic clamp doesn't seem to strong.
Hopefully it is something I can get in a day. Hardware store maybe?

I usually use an aluminum boom stabilizer clamp with a small carbon or G10 plate mounted to it with countersink screws

Basically the same here.
I use an extra horiz. fin clamp with a small G10 or airplane plywood plate. Countersunk like DJ said.
If it is not tight enough on the boom, wrap a piece of electrical tape around the boom first and that will keep it from slipping.
I am suprised to hear you say does not seem to strong, it is only holding a 1 ounce sensor. :D
