Thinking about picking one of these up. I'm planning on running it on 6S for now, and probably 10S later. It was between this and the Rex600 as my second bird, but I'm opting for this because I can get the Logo 5003D when it comes out and carry the 6S packs over to that. The rex packs would be too heavy for that bird.

If any of you are running on 6S I was wondering what your Motor/ESC/Pinion combo would be, and what kind of flight times you're looking at. Also, a motor recommendation that can handle up to 10S packs (and still run okay on 6S) would be much appreciated. Thanks

I did the same thing your wanting to do.

6s 5000mah Flightpower
Caste Creations PHX 85HV ESC
Z-Power Z50A-800 motor
13 tooth pinion for about 1750 head speed

It works very good but your flight times will be low. Say about 6 minutes of hovering and no 3D.

I'm about to step up to a 8s or 10s pack and my Flightpower 6s2p 5000 I have is used with 4 cycles on it. I'll let it go for $175 shipped.
