Hi,
I want to buy one of the EP100 (Shogun Midget Pro, Pixy Zap 100 Pro, Mini Zoom 100 Pro, Pocket Zoom Pro, etc) helicopter and I can see that everybody has different configurations with different places to buy. I would like to buy everything in just one place and I was thinking to buy the “Gaui Hobby 100SE Micro Heli” at http://www.aeromicro.com/ along with the “Recommended Components” list at the bottom of the page.
Thank you in advance,
CrazyBear
The only changes I would make is to the gyro and the GWS pico servos.
I am using the e-flite g90 gyro with good success, and HS-50's up front, and the futaba digital that aeromicro suggests for the tail. This is not an entry level helicopter, don't know what experience you have. It is not east to get setup properly, even tougher to get all the vibrations out of it. But, once setup, and you get comfortable with it's tendancies, it is a blast to fly.
If you fly this first, then fly a t-rex right after, you will appreciate the stability that comes in larger helicopters.

But if you have never flown a helicopter before I would not suggest it.

I just bought my GAUI EP-100 PRO combo from www.flying-hobby.com . Mr. Fung has been most helpful. He has the Gaui ESC/BEC. He is sending the less expensive servos that are as successful as the micro Futaba's. I bought the Futaba 146 Rx and the CNC tail rotor assembly. He is very pleasant and answers every e-mail sometimes twice a day if I have a question.
He uses FEDEX to the US. Take a look. Regards,1hoptycopter

Helidirct now has the EP 100 & basic parts. http://www.helidirect.com/index.php?cPath=29&sort=2a&page=2
I might just start buying parts from them now. I have bought from Fung though. Graet guy & very helpfull. Fung still is the only one with the upgrade parts.
I usually get my parts in about 8 days.
As far as areomicro goes, I've heard about problems dealing with them when it comes to parts. website says they are in stock when they aren't.
The guy I got my EP 100 from had the problems.
Looks like balsa products is selling a clone now. At least the blades will work on the mini zoom pro.
