Check that belt is not overtighten or loosen. Check that tail slider moves smoothly. In other words, check that all tail-related hardware work perfect.

At the moment I am living with it. I have the hyperion 10 turn on a 23 tooth pinion. Running a straight 100% throttle curve. I still get a tail kick on punch out. It is not horrible, but more annoying. My tail performs great in other aspects of flight. Mechanically I think it is set up really sound, of course I could be wrong, but I do not think so. I am begging to think that maybe I have a worn out motor.
Dale,
in addition to what gosha said, also insure that the ball links are free but not sloppy (should not be any play, but if held a 90*, should fall with no binding).

ALso make sure the belt is not slipping!!! IT does have to be pretty tight to keep it from slipping.

I think I have my belt tight enough. I had it loose, but I could hear it skipping on punch out. Bob what pitch are you running, and what blades are you using? I have the mah and they seem all right. I do however think that they are pretty wide. Maybe they are robbing me of some power.

i did lossen the belt off a little and that certainly helped, im guessing there's a sweet spot for how tight the belt needs to be.
but never mind, a glitch fixed it all this morning, nearly a write off on my 4th flight !
love that !
