Orignal Spectra open tail on my Fury?

Before I stopped flying heli's years back, I never took advantage of MA's exchange program with the open tail. I just changed the box out to a closed metal tail on my Spectra.

So the question is, now that I am flying again, can I use the open tail with the dark grey gears in my Fury without fear of breaking?

yes, ma also has a new gear set out, use a delrin input and a aluminum output gears.. the grey work fine. some people have claimed that they tend to break in cold weather.
