I've got some woes on my flybarless Raptor. Currently it's flying with a 2700mah nimh on the rx. Problem is available current. By the middle of the 2nd flight, I'm down to 3.3v and getting lockout. Afterwhich, I'll only have to add 550-650ma back into the pack. The only way to duplicate this is a 2 amp load on the ground. Should I just switch to lipo for the higher C rating?

On the VoltMagic FAQ page There is actually a comparison graph of a battery that might be similar to yours, along one that's much better. Quite a difference, the 1950 FAUP is a hard battery to beat.
