After getting stick time on Marcus Kim's, I'll have a couple!
Power to weight ratio is INSANE, and it flies like it's on rails.
The video of the Szabo's does NOT do this machine justice, no kidding.

That is the original flyer emailed to my LHS by Align.

I wonder, MSRP and actualy selling price will be lower???? I hope.

But Raptor 50 SE is $500+ street price.

edit

I just noticed at the bottom, this is the PRO kit, non PRO kit will be $409. Belt drive tail (PRO is torque tube), G10 frames and fins, plastic canopy. Probably the better one for me as a first nitro.

align doesn't usually have a different "street price" and MSRP, so expect that to be the price. Actually the price for the "pro" is very good considering what you get with the kit.

Don't really understand the price.

it's the CF kit, without any lipo or Bec, but with a TT(+100$ upgrade), and still 600$

the electro with bec, little lipo, speed controller and motor, but Belt, is 560$ if I'm not mistaken. The pricing doesn't seem right :dontknow

if the Pro kit comes with exhaust, without engine, lipo and Bec inclusif, the price would be fair

It winds up being priced similarly. The E600 with the motor, esc, bec... is about $530...and then you have to pay about $250 for your Li-Po pac. Whereas with this bird you pay $600 for the helicopter, Then you need about $180 for a motor, and say anotother $100 for the muffler. After you throw in a lipo-pack and a reg for the Nitro version, you're probably about $100 more than the E-version...and you already have a torque tube

 Man, I hope I can get the funds together for this.

I dont get it. The ali E version is $420 with motor and esc. I would have expected the N version would have been the same or close, then Align would have had a winner big time. Call it $450 with the motor, WINNER. Right now i see price gouging going on, and all align seem to be doing is aiming at the the glow market prices and matching them, no world beater here. :dontknow

Kinda makes you wonder how they justify the $500+ cost of the Trex SE

The pricing on the 600N is a big disappointment for me. I just don't see $600 worth of parts... from Align... you know, the guys who brought us the original plastic Trex 450! Guess I'll sit this one out.

What would you rather pay $600 for...a Raptor with the Kasama/G-force head or the 600N? Keep in mind the $600 Raptor still has plastic frames, belt driven tail, plastic canopy, and more expensive parts.

I think my original 450 (gray plastic one) with bluebird servos, 240,a cheap Rx and, Mega motor was $850. No battery

At first I also thought that the price was a little high when compared to the e-version.

But there are extra parts that are needed for a nitro version (fan, clutch, clutch bell, bearing blocks, cooling shroud).

Add the painted fiberglass canopy, and torque tube and I think they are in the ball park.

I think the cost is a little bit steep compared to the electric, which I think is a good deal. I know I'll probably get one, but I'll wait a bit.

Cheers!
