Hi Guys,

Had a fly of my friend's N9 yesterday and found I flew it better than my Stratus so I'm buying a Synergy!

My buddy had JR8301's in his machine, running from a SG Reactor (5.6 v).

What kind of servos are you guys recommending? The 8301 is a precision servo and seemed quick enough to me. Any comments?

Cheers.

I use Futaba equipment but I'm sure others could recommend the best JR servos. Find the fastest and strongest servo that you can afford and the N9 will fly great.

You must have done something badly wrong with the Stratus setup ....., none of the synergys I've flown ;5 I think ; come close to my Stratus's....

I built my Stratus as per the manual. It could probably have done with more head damping - but I still think the design of the Synergy specifically with reference to the higher Centre of Gravity gives it a nice balanced feel.

I'd give the Stratus kit 10 out of 10 for build quality and the Synergy 4 out of 10 due to several pieces missing or not fitting - plus certain mods required to stop it popping links. But - I personally preferred the feel of the Synergy - plus the spares are affordable as opposed to MA's extortionate rates.

I have to admit, the design of the synergy is extremely appealing to me too,, I had some minor problems with the build of the first batch, but things look really great now!

can't wait to fly one.

I have seen S9351 and S9451 (on 6volts) in action, they are rock solid and very fast... that's what I'd install.
