Guys,

I have a YS91 and SB16 which I'd like to put into an N9. I've heard though that the clearance between the pipe and main tank is very small though. Is this true? Is there a fix?

Cheers.

John,

I have no clearance issues on both my N9s when using the SB-16 or 18 and YS91. I believe the US version of the 16 is different than the one sold in the UK. Which ever model is sold in the UK needs a spacer.

#937 (SB-16) it the number for SB16 in the UK and it needs a spacer from what I understand.

OK I measured my SB-16 and the distance from the header surface to the inside edge of the pipe about 28mm. On the link below the distance of the 937 is 20mm.

Even in the pictures you can see the pipes have short necks.

Thanks guys.

Understand the tank swells under pressure. The K & S 8mm spacer on Midland Helicopter's site will do the trick if the gap is too small. Thanks for your help.
