Now updated to V2.1A version of the 1010C. Does anyone know how to use the Lipo Recovery option? I do see the A123/M1 charge mode after the upgrade. Trying to bring a lipo back to a safe charging state.

On my 1010C 2.1A + 210V if i charge a lipo (6S 4500) to a fully charged state and say leave it until then next day and then try to top up the lipo just before i fly I will get a low voltage warning saying the pack voltage is to low If i want to recover the pack i have to press the increase (+) button ..

Now i know the battery is fully charged because the balancers status light . So i assume the charger thinks its a 7S lipo hence why it want to go into recovery mode. I have never had any lipo that needs recovery or any lipo that been discharged to low ....Im not saying my charger is faulty but im trying to explain how thats the only way i have ever seen the recovery mode on my 1010C + 210V

Hope thats understandable

Miskin,

I have seen the same thing once with one of my 4600's that I have been having problems with. So far, it has not done it again. I just powered down the 1010, and started over. It worked fine. My pack was not completely balanced though, which I think kicked it into recovery mode.

Bob,

I do not think recovery is a selectable option. It is an automatic feature. From what I have seen/read, the 1010/210 combo has to recognize that a cell is low enough to need recovery. When this happens, like stated in the last post, it will tell you that your pack is very low, then give you the option to press (+) to start the recovery.

Mine does the same thing, which I though was odd, and in fact I created a topic on it. I though the same thing about the 1010 thinking the pack was 7S, but since it communicates with the balancer, I would have thought it would realize it was in fact 6S.

The charger will tell you to press INC or (+) to save battery and I got a 60 second recovery period at 0.07v and the message reappeared again and again and etc., every 60 seconds. It will stop recovering when it gets to a safe voltage to charge at a normal rate. Had to sit here and push a button forever, but the battery was finally fully charged and balanced. WALA!
