DX7-how can I use the trim tab next to AUx 2 switch to trim

I want to use aux 2 switch and its trim tab to adjust my gyro sensitivity
I have a dx7 and the aux2 is set to f.mod and gear is set to gyro
the gyro sens screen is set to auto f.mode
rate 0 = 70% and rate1 = 75% (just to try out any values)
the settings are rate 1 for norm and rate 0 for stnt and hold
I tried making a custom mix 1 so that I could do a small adjustment without having to land the heli but I don't seem to understand the idea of a custom mix or its screen at all, is it possible to do this and (if so) can someone please give me the step by steps to do it

If you are willing to press a button/rocker/switch... put the radio on the correct screen before flying, and use the "adjust" rocker. Or have a friend use it.

No mixes or setups necessary
