Hi guys,

Yesterday my Spectra-G start spinning very fast when hovering at 50 feet high. I manage to "land" it but it wasn't smooth. The AR switch saved 98% of the heli.

Few parts need replacement: head axle, struts (landing gear), one ladder support is a little bent and one blade hit the tail boom (blade ok but the boom is "almost" ok).

The cause is very clear: the tail push rod jump-out from the ball link!!
I was just hovering at the time this happened, not 3d.

The plastic link is coming off the ball almost effortless! Today I changed almost every ball screws with chromed balls and secure the links with washers.

Hi Lucian,

I'm sorry about the problem you encoutered.

I'm doing the brake-in in this days and I believe the problem is caused by the engine vibration as many others are saying in other threads.

I may consider to do the modification now, before any mishape may occur.

Is your angine broken-in already or you are still in that process.
It may explain what happen.

Regards
Gianluca
