I just got in these new lightening lipos from HeliHobby.com which boast some heavy claims of 35c continuouse and 70c burst. I have a pic of the batteries im comparing them to, a total of 4. The hyperien 250, nanotech 35c 300 mah, and stock. My review will be short and I have no fancy equipment to give graphs ect. but Ill do the best I can. Here is a pic of them next each other with out the stock ( i didnt think it would matter ).

WOW! I dont want to get to excited and fawsly screw this small crappy review up but damn my mcpx is on steroids. All settings are completely stock on my dx6i TX and if I do full collective pitch the helli will spin so there is definately more power here. On the negative side, the battery pug ins or teminaly what ever you want to call it are extremely tight, and well let me run through more then 2 lipos. I bought 6 but so far im in love. Looks like another worth while mod if you want to call it that becuase it just brought my older mcpx out of the grave and o yeah the heli lifts up at half stick now unlike it used to at almost 2/3rds I will be back with better info. Thanks for listening.

Let me know if your having the same problems like me. These lipos by far have the most burst of power ive seen and its really noticeable. I need to try these on my other mcpx becuase these female connectors will loose connection in flight. Yes in flight. The external connector still stays on but interally the female is not making very good contact with the male pins. What a bummer. How could a lipo so good be so bad at the same time. I honestly think if I can find some one with some sort of grease that can carry current Id be in great shape. Im gonna call helihobby and see what they say. Maybe I just got a bad batch IDK. What a bummer :( Im so sad, cuase the flights I was getting were so awsome. i never saw my mcpx move so quick.
Sorry for the review guys. I will try the other batteries and maybe there is some good ones out of the 6 I got.
I also Have 4 other mcpx helis and ill keep testing them through out the day.
Ok let me Update this. Im never going back to another set of batteries as long as I still continue to get this type of power. I grabbed a new mcpx out of the closet and tested all 6 lipos again. Only one so far has been a little flaky so maybe its older green mcpx male plug is getting wore out.
I put a hyperion and a nanotech in my mcpx and wanted to puke! I mean the heli hardly wanted to climb, with these lightiningpower lipos it was night and day. I dont want to drain the packs to much in the begining but even after 2 minutes worth of flight these lipos had more punch then a freshly charged nanotech andprobaly exactly what the lable says 10c more then the hyperions.
To break it down: In my opinion the lightiningpower lipos I bought from helihobby.com were really what the lable said, 35c and 70c burst. The nanotechs and hyperion 250mah and 300 mah lipos were 25c. Id go on a limb and say that the 250 hyperions and nanotechs fresh out of the box were 25c with a 45c burst and nanotech mislabled there c rating. I think both of them batteries are to close to tell any differance. I had knee recontruction and its very hard to film myself in flight but when a friend comes over I will send videos of the amazing punch I get out these new lipos. Yes they are more $ but well worth the price when your helicopter is much quicker and you can definately fight the wind alot easier.
Ill be playing around with my old mcpx larter to see whats up with the connector, but for now 2 big thumbs up!

Good news all 6 lipos work perfectly! My 1 mcpx had a bad connection from just repeated use. So hands down these batteries are number 1 in my book! I know you can find these lipos here http://www.helihobby.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=lp200-3527
If you do priority mail I got mine in 2 days. And this is what they look like. Happy flying

Did you compare new lipo vs new lipo or were your nanotechs old and beat up??? After a while they start to get crappy.

I have 12 nanotechs. 6 are 3 months old the other 6 are less then a month. The hyperians have less then 10 flights on each. I hope that answers your question. But to be honest with you man the hyperians do better then the nanotechs IMO. I notice the hyperians will have some thrust for the first 40 seconds or so. Take my review for what its worth I do not have any fancy equipment to compare them with. I saw the 70c burst lable and said I have to at least try them and bam love at first site. I think the nanotechs are really 300 mah but I dont belive they are even close to 35c continuous. I dont belive most lipo lables but word of mouth seems to give me the best results, and Im not sure if you noticed how stoked I was when I got these lol.

I bought the lighting powers for my MSR and noticed a huge difference over stock.
The nanos with the mcpx also was a huge improvement. I saw them (lightning) when I went to Helihobbyand had to try them. hopefully I'll get to try them in the next few days.

Every review is positive after the first couple of flights.
LONGEVITY is key here. Let's see how they perform after 30 flights?

I ordered some, also.
You might have a good idea to concentrate on one or two to validate the "longer life" claim.
How long did it take to get your batteries after you placed your order? I ordered mine yesterday afternoon....was hoping to get them by Saturday.

Thank you bud :) I wont claim that these lipos will outlast any others till I test them myself. I got some helipiolets from out of the area comming for the weeknd and we will be doing alot, well as much as we can to test these lipos. Of course after a 15-20 fligts onthe same lipo I noticed a small drop in spunk. Dont panic, most dont keep there composer this long. But honestly its a real joy to fly them on my mcpx. Its like I have the power of a 500 series copter.
