View Full Version : Brushless motor for cp pro
Do any of the just go fly motors fit in the blade cp pro and work well? Also, can I use an align 420L motor in the blade CP pro as I already have one that I will just have to junk pretty soon.

i dont know about the other motors out there. i know some work, but id either go with the park 370 or if you want more power im 95% sure the park 400 will fit also. dotn know about the align motor.

The Align motors are way too big to fit, you need a 22mm diameter motor. JGF motors are also too large. Most outrunner type motors will not work as the whole can and shaft spin together and you need to can to make the mount work. Besides most outrunners or low KV rated and you need something between 3500 kv and 4200 kv to use the stock pinions.
so what other choices are there besides eflite (otherwise known as we rape you and screw you)

Himaxx, medusa, Hacker. All of those have something that will work.
okay, great, thanks. I see tower hobbies as well as venom have a motor that could work.

Helidirect has a nice little brushless motor for their 300 size heli. It's pretty reasonable, and has pretty good power. Lighter then the E-Flights, but it is an outrunner.
yes but will it fit in this heli, if that motor fits, then I'm assuming the motors from just go fly would fit as well.

i read in a post on rcg that the ARC 20-34-110 w/the Phoenix 10 from lightflightrc.com works well i.e. lighter and a bit cheaper than e-flite. anybody know how it stacks up against the e-flite?
-edit- found the thread (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=652632)
thanks,

I think with the arc 20-34-130 being the same price, might as well use that one.
