You will not get all of the switches to work with the 9C. You can go into the radio menu to change the switches to coinside with the switches in RealFlight. That way you can have smoke, retracts, idle up, throtle hold, ect.... on the switch(es) that you want.

I got my 7c working. I had to use the channel reconfigure function in g3.5 to figure out what was working what.

Mx400, the channel map & the radio menu goes hand in hand with each other.

I did not have to do anything to my radio except choose the correct model programming. Then change some settings in the channel mapping menue.

On the Interlink, those are actual "channels". On your radio the 3-pos is a Flight condition switch. To properly use your TX with an aircraft in G3.5, save a custom version, go to the aircraft section in the editor and change the radio type to "pass-through" and then program your radio exactly as you would for the real thing. I did this with many models in an Eclipse 7, including heli's with throttle hold, idle ups, governors, clyclic->throttle mixing, and adjustable gyro gain. Shoot me a PM if you have any specific questions, I'll try to help as much as I can. My Raptor program for G3.5 can almost be switched with the program for my actual raptor. :P

Sounds like you guys have figured it out. I am going to try again based on these threads, and I may need some more advice, so I'll pm you next week if I do. I gave up last week. Thanks!
