Ok I bought a used Raptor 30 V1. It had a crack at both side frames and came with two TT 30 motors that need new bearings and piston/sleeves.
I basicly tore it down to the individual parts.
Now here's my next step. I plan to rebuld it from the ground up.
I bought new side frames already but now I'm thinking of building it up to a Raptor 50.
I plan to buy a OS 50 motor and install the DS821 digital servos that came with my DX7. (Learned to fly with Blade CP and Trex 450 SE)
What do I need to make it a 50 or should I just build it up to a 30? What's cheaper?
I plan to buy a Freya EVO 90 or Raptor 90SE for 3D when I get skilled enough. Or can I do 3D with a 30 Raptor build up.
Man I am so frustrated I don't know what direction to go.
I spend about 2 hours every night on the SIM and I can fly 3D in the vurtual world but soon as summer in STL comes with no wind I want to fly the gas heli for real.
I got money to spend buy want to do it wisely.
Any advice???
