I got a chance over the weekend to look over two Evo 50 ccpms and I admit they are very nice helis. I have never see one in person only pictures. I think if I buy another nitro 50 it may be an Evo 50. The only catch is, I fly a Raptor 50 right now and never worry about crashing. With an Evo I might start worrying.

Why? Despite what is often said Evo parts and Raptor parts are very close. Some Evo parts are cheaper and some Raptor parts are cheaper. Most parts are the same or within a few dollars. The only exception is Maverik parts which I won't use on my Titan.

Not the price of the parts. I don't like crashing nice looking things.

Having owned both the Raptor takes a beating a little better.

The evo is a little more refined and smoother.

Can't go wrong with either one but it becomes a bit of a pain supporting two makes.

I have about 6 gallons thru my new Evo 50 now and so far has performed perfectly. I really like the underslung flybar setup better than the Rappy type head. I have not regretted buying this heli once! :D

I have had less maintenance issues with my Evo 50 then any other 50 heli I have owned.
Also the Evo 50 is the best flying 50 I have flown.

For a stock heli that will take hard 3-d abuse out of the box, the Evo 50 is the heli.No upgrades whatso ever.!!! Oh and customer service and support from MRC is priceless! You get that free with the heli . :D :D
