View Full Version : HC3SX Channel 8 Mapping

Hi,
When I map channel 8 (AUX 3) to output 2 on the HC3SX it doesn’t work. However if I map channels 1 through to 7 to output 2 it works perfectly… Am I missing something or is this a software fault?
I'm using a JR DSX9 in DSM2 with DSM2 sats on the HC3SX.

Robbe emailed me back and confirmed it’s an issue with the firmware in the JR Sats and they (Helicommand) are working on a fix.

Yes this is indeed true. For the use of a AUX 2 ( say A separate gov for nitros) you must eliminate something like tail or head gain. Helicommand is working on a fix.

if you use firmware version 114 you can use dsmx sats and use the output option 2 programmed to channel 8 to activate your governor from your tx.......

So does that mean that channel 8 on output 2 is only available with dsmx and not dsm2? Also, I was trying to map the horizon channel from channel 7 to channel 8 on the radio to change which switch activates the bailout and I couldn't get that to work. Is it possible to do that? I have a JR 9303 radio.

i'm sorry, i don't have any experience with JR radios maybe somebody that know JR systems could answer that ? i have a futaba 8FG, with that radio you can change any function to any switch and that's the only radio i know. :redface2

The 8th channel should be avalible for DMS2 and DSMX and of course it works fine for Futaba S.bus as well.

I too am flying a 8FG, It's been quite some time since I have used a JR 9303, try looking for a menu called "switch assign" etc.?
