I have 2 Thunder Power Batteries, 2 flights on each but when I fly I have the power slider on my transmitter up to the point my blades are just about to turn. when sitting on the ground the reciever light is green but as soon as I take off the light goes red and stays red. That means there is a problem, am I right?

Sounds like your main motor is bad. Replace it and try it again.

How does it fly when the light is red? I thought the red light meant that the speed controller was at full throttle.

Are you flying a CX/2 or CP?

Opps, never mind. I thought only the CP had a 4 in 1. Sorry about that.

Michael,

That's a normal condition on the cx model. It is only green when you arm it with both throttle and throttle trim all the way off and first connecting the battery. After that every time you give any throttle it will change color. It should go back to green anytime you shut down both throttle and trim. As long as it's flying ok you have no problem.

Red indicates the esc has reached full throttle. It is only useful for programming the throttle endpoints in after market radios.
