I'v been looking at the menues and found something like "TrackIR".
when I searched for it, I found this AMAZING gadget..
http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/
basically, you have a device you put over the monitor and another (very small and light) on your cap.
what you can do in terms of other games is basically move your head around and see everything, especially usefull for simulators like MS Flight Simulator X and Car racing games..
you HAVE to check their videos on their website..
on G3 I am guessing that you will be able to move your head and look at you heli.. I believe this will add a great amount of reality as now you have to track your heli with your head.
anyways, I have Ordered one from Amazon, it'll arrive next week, if you guys want to know more, I'll post back on my findings..

The problem is:
You move your head, and the monitor stays where it is.
It would work with goggles, but they have their own problems: flickering, low resolution etc.

you control how much movement your head needs to move in relation to how much input you want sent to the game.. so you can set a slight movement from you but high movement on the game..
I know this is something that was worrying me, but it's really worth the try fromt he videos I'v seen.. games like FSX and Enemy Engaged II will be AWSOME with this device if G3 didn't work out..
as soon as I try it on G3, i'll record and post videos of my actual flight using it.

Rogan,
I'm using TrackIR on my M$-Flightsim for a long time, mainly on helicopters...
At first, what you mention is a "problem", but with time, it really becomes natural that you don't need to turn your head 90° to see to your left.
Actually i use the standard-settings and feel quite comfortable with it.
How far this can be useful with the model-flightsim, I cannot say.
Leaves me wondering, how the aspect of Zoom and/or visibility/situation-awareness is being handled then...
Looking eagerly forward to some hands-on information and feedback!
Cheers,
Daniel

well, I regret to say that in terms of RealFlight, IMHO it is NOT worth it.. the movements are not precise and slow, and if you use TrackIR with RealScenery it is completely pointless, coz the zoom and pan will still work regardless if you are using trackir or not.
switched to a 3D rendered airport, and set everything to manual including zoom (and pan by moving the pilot a step using the arrow keys), I could never stop crashing because I keep loosing sight of the heli... it is really an unpleasant experience. sorry guys!
HOWEVER, I thought the same experience will be fealt with FlightSimulator X... how wrong I was.. if you are into flight sims,, this device is a MUST !! it is absolutely AMAZING with flightsim, you actually feel that you are in there! and you don't need multiple screens to handle the gauges and viewings.. you can just look to whatever you want. the first time I flew with trackir, I stayed flying for hours!!
I'll be buying all the flight sims that support trackir! this will transform every game to something else.. its really a pitty it didn't workout very well with realflight even though it supported all 6 degrees of freedom..
