T-Rex loose ball links

OK, I know I read to put the ball links under a flame for a few seconds on each side to make them tighter. Is this correct?
Also what about the Elevator control arm links? Mine are loose too. Is there any way to make them tighter?

Mine seem kinda loose too, but I think they'll be ok. I don't think I'd try holding them under a flame. Could make it worse.

So far, none of them have threatened to pop off so I'm not gonna worry about it! :mrgreen:
