Old Style Futaba Trainer Plug

My brother used to fly pattern competition, and hasn't flown for a long time. I showed him Reflex on my note book and he freaked. He wants to get a sim and use his old Futaba PCM radio with the round plug.

Does anyone know if there is a way to use one of these old radios with Phoenix? Adaptor, different plug, etc?

I know they exist over here because i use one (Futaba FF6 t6x powered by a adapter).
My wife bought it at my LHS together with PhoenixRC.
It's a stock small cable with the round DIN plug on one side and the female earphone plug on the other side.
Works great.
