I need some help. I dont understand why my 14mz is showing 17 point curve when my friend's 14mz only show 9 point.

Is there anything wrong with my 14mz ? :arggg:

Now if i open the page, it shows 9 point. Then sometimes dont know why show 17 point. . . .

Someone has added some points. You can add or delete points. The default is 9 points.

but what sookainian is saying is that the default on his radio is 17 points on some screens

Perhaps there is a 14MZ fairy adding points to curves in the night called DavidH

Haha yap, I am wondering why my default is not 9 points. Sometimes it's 9, sometimes it's 17.

How do i change the default setting to 9 point or 17 point ?

Kenny,
If your saying the points change from 9 to 17 without you doing anything. I would send the radio in for a check up.

You open the throttle curve menu one time and it is 9 points? You open it again and it is 17 points? It does this in the same flight condtion?

I would send it for service if that is the case.

OK.

But do you think it could be cause by the last software update ( not install properly or bug ) ? 3/21/2007 http://www.rcfan.com/radios.html

Last time before the update i dont remember having this problem. I update my radio around 1/4/2007.

I just notice i had this problem yesterday when i was creating a new model for my 140CCPm Stratus :(

Is it safe to fly ?? I never drop my radio on the ground before..

I would call Futaba USA and talk to them about. I'm sure they can advise you as to the safest thing to do.

Kenny,
Since your in Singapore. Call or email the service center for your area.
If you got the radio from Walter Lee's shop. I am sure Walter can direct you who to contact about your problem.
Krysta from Hobbico/Futaba frequents this forum daily. You might try a PM to her and see if she has an answer.

I don't have my T14 in front of me but I'm pretty sure that you have chosen the spline curve twice.
Every time you change the curve type the radio asks you if you want to keep the old settings for that curve and if you do so you end up with more than 9 points.
This is one of the new things after the latest update.
Just answer no when you change the curve type again and I think your problem is sorted.

Right I've just tried this on my 14MZ. If you stay in the same mode (idle 1) and change line type to the same ie spline then select spline again it comes up with a 9 point curve. Then switch to normal and it shows a 17 point curve.

Stay in normal and change the curve type to sline twice then switch to idle 1 and a 17 point curve is displayed

I've not tried this on a live model but a new simple model ccpm model with normal and idle1 set up as conditions
