Well, I have worn out the sticks on my 10X to the point that I am having difficulty with my thumbs slipping off them during the more wild "maneuvers".

Where can I find some good transmitter knobs that work well for thumb fliers?

Right above the pic of the red sticks are the regular length red sticks. They look nice.

Ivan,
You can glue some sandpaper to the top of the sticks. Wayne Mann flies with his thumbs. He uses the threaded frame spacers from Miniature Aircraft.

Cuts them in half. Glues sandpaper ( about 120 grit) to the flat section of spacer. Then threads one on each stick. Makes a nice stable none skid platform for a thumb flier.

I wish they made some sticks that are wide at the top.... Kind of like pads or something.

cool. I found some here, after taking some more time to search.

I have tried things similar to the frame spacers, but could never get it to work right.

Here is what I found:

Yeah Joe Meale that owns Madison Compontents use to live here in Birmingham.
He is an OK guy, just don't believe everything that he has listed on the web site.
He really hasn't designed anything. He saw another pilot making and selling the transmitter knobs at our heli fun fly here a few years ago. He is in the machine tool business, so he had someone make them for him.
