So how do i use my 12z with real flight 3.5? can it be done. does the tx have to be on when flying? thanks for the help

12Z needs to be set to transmit in PPM mode. Yes if the transmitter does not come on when you plug in the cord from RF, then yes you will have to turn the power on in the transmitter.
