I was going through the EVO today for some scheduled maintenence and discovered something weird. Now I don't remember if it was always like this but it seems that I can get some "turn" on the mainshaft before the one-way grabs. Maybe like a sixteenth of a rotation or so ???

Does this make sense .... is the one-way going bad ?

you may be geting play in the hub or the one way may be going bad.

Johnny, try cleaning the bearing and flush it with automatic transmission fluid. There may be some trash making a couple of the roller bearings not grab right away.

Thanks guys .. I'll give it a whirl. I've heard of them giving up on the Freya but not the EVO.

Quick UK is comming out with an aluminum auto hub. They said about 2 weeks. The industry standard given time for things to come out . Actual time not given :D

Johnny search on RR for Augusto's post I think about packing the one way and all that crap full of grease. Read his posts before you do it. I have mine packed and it grabs right after I try and move the mainshaft backwords. Works really good IMO and helps keep it from cracking or whatever. Go look for it! :)
