Hey folks. Just wondering if some folks who know better than I with these things than I can give us a run-down on what full-size servos would be good for the new Logos?

I'm not asking which are the best most amazing 3D underpants-soiling performing servos, but maybe recommend a servo in each of the "just hovering", "sporty" and "skidmarks" categories?

I'm thinking of building a Logo 600 as a present when they hit the market, and I'm hoping that I can get away with using the DS821's that came with my DX7. They'd be in the "sporty" category, right?

Cheers.

I would only use those DX7 Servos for light duty sport flying nothing more. If you are looking for a real good affordable servo that will be up to the task and offer cheap gear replacements etc look at the Futaba 9252 servo. If you are not slamming it about in any way I would guess the DS821s should be fine though. Just remember that is alot of money up there and one thing a person imho should never skimp out on is the quality of the electronics keeping it airborne and safe. Just my thoughts, have fun.
