Pilots can select the o-ring combination for their flying style on the G-Force Tuner head for the Mini Titan E325. The head also incorporates triple clamping for the main shaft. The main rotor head unit includes durometer 70 and 90 o-rings.

The new washout base is a directly replacement for the stock plastic unit.

The new flybar cage comes in two flavors. The standard version accepts the stock M1.6 ball links. The "T" version have M2 threads that will let you use the Trex 450 ball links.

Other upgrades are still in the works and will be announced shortly.

NO im not a team pilot, im just super freaking excited about this and want to spread the word.

Its on runryder, i spared everyone the hassle of that mess and just posted them here.

Everything is the same here, as on rr, i just copied and pasted.

Thank you, thank you. I love my G-Force head on my Titan 50, I can't wait to try this out on my Mini. Hopefully this will solve the never ending tracking problems. Any word about when this will be available??

Options are coming i see, nice :)
This is a CNC'ed prototype i guess.
Any reason why the fly-bar cage is modeled this simple?
Not such a big deal on a big robust heli but..
I know the stock (plastic) one is hard to copy from Aluminium but staying in a 2D shape with a CNC mill would just as easily permit a more complex(rounded), stronger , less drag finish without much gain of machining time IMO.
Just a thought.

I wish GForce would work on metal grips for their Raptor head as well now this mini Titan one. I was told sometime agi they were working on grips to go with their head and flybar cage, that was 4-5 months ago,,,, it would be more attractive and just simply nice to buy a complete head like Kasama sells. :!:

One thing about GForce: They sure make 'em ugly. They should take some notes from Quick-UK and Kasama. People like sexy. Not saying they don't work, just that well, the Kasama one looks so much better.

Is making it look pretty gonna make you fly better? No.

Not pretty, more efficient.
Using stronger rounded forms and a smoother finish enables you to use less material thus saves weight, and creates less drag while spinning with 3000 Rpm.
And a side-effect is that it looks better.
It may not make you fly better, but it could make the head more stable and efficient.
I'm not a expert on heli's but aerodynamics and power to weight ratios are the same wherever you go on this planet.
And if the thought is wrong, i hope someone can give a detailed explanation why it's wrong.
If it's purely about production costs, then i still think the same.

For the interested:
I'm talking about A and Cw

I never said that Jason, I was just commenting on how Gforce heads are always so much bulkier than others like Kasama and Quick-UK. Some people do buy them for bling as much as for anything else. And for the record, I agree with Eric, buy looking at both, I would guess that the Kasama head will be much more efficient and have less drag. Although with the power to weight ratios on a modern heli, I doubt it would be noticeable.

Gforce makes a geat performing head, but so does Kasama. If I was standing in a shop looking at the two, I'd pick the one that looks nicer.

In the end people will buy what they will. I guess what both of you are say is that the Gforce stuff is more Blunt, and doesnt have as many curves as the kasama, at first I was lik the Gforce head is skinnier than the kasama, but what I stated above after thinking is what I think you guys ment. Seems to make sense. Smoother air, more efficnent blabalblabla.

Agreed shiney stuff does look cool, bling man myself  Shiney colored parts are awesome.

But on this kind of application, does drag and efficeny make THAT much difference? :dontknow. Seems to me almost every head is bulky, not as smooth as the kasama, and I dont see any performance flaws in those helicopters?

I would LOVE to hear if anyonce can tell the difference efficeny wise between the kasama and gforce.

My Kasama head was a peice of crap, all I wish about G-Force was that they made grips to go with the head is all, then it would seem to be a better deal, the looks of the gforce head do not bother me.

Agreed shawn, the kasama has that going for them. Gforce needs some stinking grips!!!!

I'll definitely go for a metal head upgrade (a full upgrade preferable).
My stock one is still in one piece and not worn yet, so i have time.
And I want to wait and see the kasama result and maybe even the TT upgrade.
Depends on how fast i crash :).
I agree that with the small size of the heli and it's small parts even the influence of drag is small, but with these prices some polishing and more attention for design would be fair.
The MT is a beautiful flying machine but already heavy compared to other 450 sized heli's and the flight times are a bit short.
So every bit of efficiency is welcome to make this even a better heli than it already is IMO :).

the flight times are a bit short.

I get as much time if not more on my mini titan than I do on my rexie.

I can't compare 1on1 cause i don't have a Trex :dontknow
I go with what i read here and other boards.
I'm not flying hard 3d, probably won't for some time, but want to get there :), and I fly about 6 min. per flight now, being nice to my lipos.
But i noticed that small setup changes do a lot for this heli, like belt tension and some simple lubricating.
Also things that seemed to have little effect, but did have big effect on the performance.
I love my MT and want the best for it ;)
Please keep me informed how the head performs.

Eric

I "REALLY" hope Gforce makes a head combo like this for the newest V2 450 Rex, the damper issue is beyond a hassle and I think this system would solve it. It should be pretty easy for Gforce to do that as they allready have one this small obviously they could do a rex one pretty easy to ????? :dontknow :smokin: And.....you know they'd sell a ton.

I hope G-Force is listening. An adjustable dampening head setup for the new V2 head would be great, they would just need to tweak the Mini Titans head a little.... although I hope that wouldn't push the metal 50 blade grips back even more :?

So has anyone tried it yet?

http://www.gforceheli.com/c291071_en/c333843/index.html

I am curious to see if it really works, and it really does not look that ugly.... i kinda like it. Don;t we want to go for a metal swash ans so forth also? Thinking of the upgrade i got for my walkera where everything was metal, swash, head and grips. Or is the plastic swash just fine... I'm still a n00b so i won;t really know...
