Ok, I just had to share this...
Low and behold... i checked my frequency on the lama... and it was the same as my optic 6 crystal... so i thought to myself.. Hmmm, self, can it work? Esky receiver with esky crystal vs hitec transmitter andh itec crystal?
Trrrrrrrrrr dish..... it works! After i reversed the aileron and elevator channels, all was well. I set some sub trims, adjusted endpoints...the servo's go much farther than the receiver initially takes them... my endpoints are now on 125 for ail and elevator. Set up some exponential on the rudder....
Man o man, this little bird now flies flies flies flies VERY well....
I can put it in a hover and walk around it without any stick input!! Ailerons and elevator feel just right, rudder is much quicker also now.
I also adjusted the gyro gain a little bit, no more tail drift, it almost feels like HH!!!
