This is my first go at a scale fuse from scratch ha ha!! Progress is slow, but I'm a single dad who works full time
I wont be useing the head in the pics, it dosnt work. Heli direct was kind enough to take it back... sure hope they get that sorted out.
any suggestions or comments are welcome, just try to keep it constructive.

Fantastic! If you double up your formers just forward of the main shaft you can make the front a one piece removable assembly. Double up the center outline too so you can split everything down the center lengthwise. Leave the belly on the rear to include entire landing gear and basically make the front just along for the ride. That way you have access for batteries and maintenance without removing the entire fuse. Good start, Nice job on the plans too! :smokin:

My split is going to be funky. I am splitting from the swash straight down then along the roof line to the rear of the back door, then along the bottom of the door to the front skid strut. Kind of complex but it should hide well when its all done. We'll see though.
For a first shot I'm not scared to crush the whole thing and start over if things get out of control ha ha ha!!!
Thanks for the advice and Kudos!!!

Yep..that should work fine! Once you get the thing to a point that it actually looks like a helicopter it gets easier to plan the sequence to the build. Good luck and keep us posted! :D

ya i have one side almost all laid up. I ran into some framing issues near the rear door... just poor planing. I pop a pic in a day or so after I get some "skin" on the nose.
