R30v2 canopy on v1 frame??

It seems that the v1 canopies are going by the wayside. I want to try my hand at painting a canopy, does anyone know if the v2 canopy will fit the v1 frame, are any mods needed?

mmm, the only thing I can think of is that you'll probably need to swap out the upper
canopy mount studs for the V2 version which are much shorter than the V1 version.

Other than that, it all works.

I saw a V2 canopy on a V1 last week so it works out perfect :D

I am using a V2 canopy on the V1 frame. You will need the V2 rear studs, as they are shorter than the V1 studs. The canopy fits perfectly and looks better that the V1.
