First a little background, I bought a Falcon 40 FP and cannot seem to get control on it. I can get it off the ground but it seems to go in reverse which I am thinking is because its tail heavy. I think if I could get it to take off and go straight up to about 3 foot or so I could fly it.

This is my question; how many of you when you first started out had a heli that would come off the ground vertically instead of at a angle. I think for a newbe you need as much control as possible taking off.

My Blade CX comes straight up and then drifts which I have no problem controlling.

To recap what I am asking

Did your first FP or CP come off the ground straight up with or without adjustment or did you have to fight it for ground to flying?

What is the proper way to adjust these helis?
Blade tracking: done that everything looked good
swahplate: Level
(when level cant flyit at all it tilts over one wat or another)Checked CG: Tail heavy, more than I can adjust out

I used a SIMULATOR last summer for 3 months without any success which I had a CP heli last summer.

Before I get rid of the Falcon I wanted to ask this.
