First of all hi to all. I am a beginner with Trex 450 and Raptor 30 V2 nitro. Trex 450 was an awesome machine. I have TREX 450X but with lots of upgrade. It converted nearly SE with all metal upgrades. I crashed several time and with each crash I upgrade with metal instead of stock plastic. I have a problem with 450 such that it is very sensitive to wind and I think I need larger machine to start with. Then I get Raptor 30 V2. I started to engine breaking newly by burning two tank of nitro on ground. But I want to larger E-heli without needing any field equipments. I get used to TREX 450 that need any thing besides battery and of course transmitter :lol: At the end My question was What is the best beginner configuration for Quick of Japan. I found a combo deal with following equipment in it;

Quick of Japn EP8 V2 EX
Quick 890 kV motor with 24 tooth pinion
Rc-expert 50A ESC
Extreme Power 14.8 V 4S 2200 mah battery
3X Xtreme power XS621 metal geared Servo
1X Xtreme power XS1161 digital servo
Telebee Gyro

I think to use my own Futaba 7CHP with this configuration. I wonder that this motor, ESC and battery configuration was suitable for beginner and what was the fliying time (for hover and regular flight not hard 3D) You know I am a beginner :lol:

Thank you very much to all;

Devrim

I have that motor and would go with 5S rather than 4. or a higher Kv motor.
I don't have any experience with the servos mentioned, most people like HS85mg's for the pitch, I use HS81mg's.
You might want to upgrade the gyro aswell.

Runryder has a Quick specific forum, and you'll probably get more feedback there.

Agreed.

I fly mine with 5S 2100 packs.

I have HS81s upgraded to metal gears after the first crash.

I run a Futaba GY401 with S9254 on the tail.

Very nice machine.
