Testing ap rig and down link

Here is a pic of my setup and one of my trying it out. Testing went so so, the camera , mount, and downlink all worked fine but had some problem with my spartan ap2000. When I would go to 100% on the stabilizing gain, the heli would start to osilate (wobble) and I had to turn it off also when I try to recalibrate it, sometimes it will want to go sideways or back and I have to give alot of input to keep it in one place.

Maybe try lower gain?? If you have a slider on your radio, you can raise it slowly. There are many threads on the Spartan if you search.

Yeah, Tony, I would not run 100% gain.

With too high of a gain in any system oscillation is the side effect. Think of your gyro, put that gain at 100 and the tail will seek all over.

I usually run my spartan at about 30-60 depending on the day.

Check the level of your sensor also. Sometimes some left tilt on your boom will help since your heli will hang to the right in the air.
