I have been reading about some people using the TJ governor's to drive their ESC's
I can see why it may work better but just wondered what the rest of the world thought

I don't know Tom...

My E-Heli's were always solidly locked in with the ESC's governor, so I am not sure what the new twist is...

What it boils down to is that since the TJ reads an actual throttle curve it will add more throttle BEFORE there is a drop in head speed (The TJ uses a feed foward technology)
Since the ESC uses a straight throttle curve it can only react AFTER the motor/head speed drops
I have read that it just "crisper " during maneuvers like having a super fast throttle servo on a glow machine
I'll be testing this soon :D

The idea sounds good. So far, I have not been totally disappointed in the ESC governor.
