Have read jut about everthing on this site and it has been a great help but I need a little help.
Just received a working 12z radio (first one had problems). I don't need it now but the posting on the callibration utility coud be useful in the future.
Have tried adding the file in every possible way and nothing has worked The radio reconizes every card I put in. It will see model files, update files. I have tried a friends futaba card and it doesn' work either.
could it be futaba has locked this feature with it latest production run??
Maybe someone can help?

Please detail what you've done! There's only one way to get to each the 3 different calibration utilities. If you followed the directions, including the changes required as of the latest software update, then you should not have had any problems. So please take the time to describe what you've tried -- don't leave any details out.

Maybe this will clear up what you need to do. It took a phone call for me to get it exactly correct.

Open up Word or Notepad on your PC.
In the body of the document type this.
Execute T12Z Test Program

OK now click Save. When it opens that box, you will see File Name. In the File name section type this.
T12ZTEST.ini

This all should be saved to the CF card. Needs to be the only file on the card.

Then insert into the card slot and turn on the TX. Program should open up as in this thread.

You can subsitute the other files for the Light and RX if you want to try those.

Thanks guys I have no clue as to what I was doing wrong. Had followed Rcfans instructions to the letter File 1,2,3 a zillion times and never anything.
This morning after your posts I did it again. N :dontknow ow the test portion is working fine, Did not get the rx or testlight to function and that probably doesn't matter.
